The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas offers a diverse categorical internship program through several major referral hospitals in the Dallas metroplex to include Methodist Medical Center (MMC), Baylor University Medical Center (BUMC), Parkland Memorial Hospital (PMH) and Children's Medical Center (CMC). Categorical interns rotate through various medical and surgical specialties and are exposed to a strong and diverse critical care experience through various medical, coronary care, trauma and transplant surgical ICU's.
