Carl Noe, MD

Carl Noe, MD
Dr. Carl Noe earned his medical degree from UT Health Science Center in San Antonio and has completed fellowships in critical care medicine at Stanford University and in pain management at Texas Tech University. Named a Diplomate by the American Board of Anesthesiology in 1989, Dr. Noe is a founding member of the Texas Pain Society. He has been named one of the Best Doctors in America.
Stephanie Jones, MD
Stephanie Jones, MD
A specialist in anesthesiology and pain management, Dr. Stephanie Jones initially matriculated at Rice University as one of the prestigious Rice/Baylor College of Medicine Medical Scholars. She continued her medical training at Baylor College of Medicine. After finishing her residency in anesthesiology at Baylor, she completed a fellowship in pain management at Stanford University, where she was the Chief Fellow.
Aaron Van Wright, MD
Aaron Van Wright, MD
Dr. Aaron Van Wright has been on the faculty of UT Southwestern since 1997 after completing a residency in psychiatry and fellowship in geriatrics here. He received his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Van Wright became interested in the behavioral health aspects of pain through previous work with an interdisciplinary pain management team in the Parkland Health & Hospital System.
 
Judy Mullican, MS, LPC
Judy Mullican, MS, LPC
Judy Mullican completed both her undergraduate degree in rehabilitation counseling and her graduate degree in rehabilitation counseling psychology at the UT Southwestern Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Her area of interest is interdisciplinary pain management. Ms. Mullican holds both Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor designations. She provides cognitive behavioral individual psychotherapy, self-regulation training (biofeedback), stress management and relaxation training, group education, and program development.
Jason Zafereo, MPT
Jason Zafereo, MPT
Jason Zafereo is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physical Therapy at UT Southwestern. Mr. Zafereo is a board-certified specialist in orthopaedic physical therapy and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists. He currently serves as the Director of Clinical Services for the Department of Physical Therapy and maintains an outpatient clinical practice in adult orthopaedics and pain management. Mr. Zafereo teaches on therapeutic interventions and evaluation and management of the spine to entry-level doctor of physical therapy students.
Travis Whitfill, PhD
Travis Whitfill, PhD
Dr. Travis Whitfill completed his doctorate in clinical psychology at UT Southwestern and currently serves as an Assistant Professor within the Department of Psychiatry. Dr. Whitfill has contributed to various publications and research projects within the field of pain management. His clinical interests include the use of cognitive, behavioral, and motivational interviewing techniques to address pain and related health issues.
Eugenia Bell-Wilson, BSN, RN
Eugenia Bell-Wilson, BSN, RN
Eugenia Bell-Wilson serves as the Senior Registered Nurse at The Eugene McDermott Center for Pain Management. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Oklahoma and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing with a concentration on Family Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Bell-Wilson has served in leadership positions at Manor Care Skilled Facility and Grace Living Center Rehab/Skilled Facility in Oklahoma City. She has recently joined the pain management group collaborating with the interdisciplinary program team.
